Rent local real estate for indoors parties

Not sure about the current climate in your city but in southern Texas we haven't seen blue skies in a while. This does not mean you must cancel your birthday parties and kids events but rather begin a local search for indoor bouncehouse set-up capabilities available in the commercial real estate market.
When you rent inflatable bounce houses, jumps, moonwalks, and especially slides you are never in fear of how high the sky is but ceiling height is a priority when looking for space to rent and utilize your inflatables safely inside. What? Yes, many commercial spaces have ceilings not high enough to inflate a kids big inflatable double lane slide with a 20' drop!
Start by driving through your neighborhood commercial real estate properties, looking for old stores that have closed, be sure the previous business was one that may have allowed for high ceilings before calling to inquire. Use the internet, search for commercial real estate in your zipcode. Perhaps there is a discount store that has closed, or grocery store, or warehouse of some kind. Often the owners want to rent it for a month's time especially if it has been available for a while.
Another prime property for party rentals are airplane hangars. If they are high enough to park a corporate aircraft in they are high enough to put a bounce house inside. Is it nearly Summer?
Weather check: If you are in Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, or areas surrounding be sure you are practicing weather drills now. These are nasty times and we are thinking about all the children whose lives were taken in recent stormy weather. We are saddened to see such a loss for us all.
Are you using sand bags or stakes? Do you have a weather "rain check", or better still do you have an indoor area that can be used in exchange for outdoors during windy days?
Bounce house rentals and water slides are great for kids parties but safety is the number one issue. Be sure you are insured, offer safety rules, use signs, and ensure that your employees are doing the same.
Those of us who live in the midwest are not strangers to these weather dangers but it is good to repeat these extra efforts put forth to show your customers they are always number one.
Get your inventory ready, keep it clean, dry, and store it in the correct fashion. Avoid mishaps, remember mold forms when storing units wet, and most of all avoid duct tape... really?
